Summer

 

The village of Bussang is a small family resort offering you a natural setting.

 

      To exercicse and enjoy natur.

 

Walking: Short walks or large trails marked for every level (GR)

 

Cycling,mountain biking :

              -Cycle an the Grenn Way, a multi activity trail laid out on the 53-kilometers-long railway that used to run through the Moselle Moselotte valleys.

              -Mountain bikingtrails marked VTT-FFC for all levels

              -Cycle through various mountain passes (such as : Ballon d'Alsace 1178m, Grand Ballon 1424m, or «  la Route des Cretes »).


 

 

Paragliding: Alone or a tandem paragliding initiation flight .

 

 

Tree climbing: Parc aventure Kruth, 20 km from Bussang.

                         Parc aventure Gerardmer, 27 km from Bussang.

 

 

Rando Ferrata: A mix of walking and climbing along a fixed cable. You can hire the material in Bussang and ask for monitoring.

 

 

Fishing: Pond and river fishing from March to mid September. Ask at the Tourist Office for information.

 

 

Swimming: Open air swimming pool in Saint Maurice

                    Covered public swimming pool in Thillot

                    In the lake of Gerardmer

                    In the lake of Kruth Wildenstein

 

 

Tennis: Outdoor tennis courts in Bussang. Free. Ask at the Tourist Office for information .

The « Théâtre du peuple »:

listed as a historical monument since 1975, the Theatre du Peuple is know around the world for its backdrop which opens out on to the forest. Plays are proposed in the summer.

If you want to see more of the neighbooring region Alsace, you can visit :

     Thann, with its gothic church. The collegiale Saint Thiebaud.

     The parc of Wesserling, with its summer activities and the Musée du Textile.

     La Route des Vins, and its floorished villages, like Kaysesberg or Eguisheim, situated in the heart of the vignoble.

     Colmar, also know as « Petite Venise » and its beautifull timbered houses.

     Mulhouse, where you 'll found :

             La Cité de l'Automobile wich houses the Sclumpf Collection of classic automobiles.

             La Cité du Train, the biggest railway museum in the world.

             Le Musée EDF Electropolis ;

             Le parc zoologique.

     Belfort, where you can visit the Citadelle and the famous Lion.
